How to get back on tracks (and feel amazingly good)

Hey beautiful! Today’s a good day to start your new sporty life! 🏋️ You may have been forced to stop exercising after an injury, a pregnancy or an health issue, and we know how hard it can be to get your motivation and strength back. Don’t try to catch up on your former performances right away, it takes some time to gain your whole energy back! You may also want to integrate new sport habits in your life, and in this case welcome to our community! For all of you, here are some key rules about sport resumption.

·         Never forget to warm up before doing anything. Warming up allows your body to prepare to the efforts it’s going to have to make. It prevents many injuries, and it would be a pity to get hurt on the first exercising day, wouldn’t it?

·         Take it slow. Set your weekly objectives, and raise your expectations gradually. As a start, you could choose to run for 15 minutes for the first two weeks, then go up to 20 minutes, then 25 etc. Don’t worry, you can do it!

·         Monitor your diet. I’m sure you thought about it, but eating healthy really is a key element in reshaping your body and mind. And if you’re a little short on budget, don’t worry, you can still eat a ton of healthy meals! Go read this super useful article on how to eat healthy without having to sell your house: https://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/how-to-eat-healthy-without-breaking-the-bank/

·         Be consistent. Set alarms for each time slot you keep for exercising. Try to have at least two a week, consistency is the only way you’ll see your performance improving!

·         Choose an activity you enjoy. Sure, you’d like to be sporty, but not every sport may be of interest to you. Choosing a sport you actually like to practice will make everything easier!

Change starts now!! We’re so excited to see you join the community 😃 We’ll be there with you every step of the way. For now, go eat a vegetable or put on your sneakers for a nice long walk! 💪💪
